SCAC is a young healthy Coarse Angling Club in the Scottish Borders boasting two great home waters. These waters are home to an abundance of coarse fish including Mirror and Common Carp to double figures, Roach, Tench, Perch, Pike and Gudgeon.
The club having recently received a small lottery grant have now upgraded the fishing platforms at our Selkirk water and now have access for disabled anglers on site.
Our second water at Melrose was already a haven for a host of Coarse fish and these need managed before we can seriously consider stocking and this is in hand at present. with various visits to tidy up, remove unwanted fish to pastures new and clearing pegs for fishing. See our work party page for an up to date list of when the next one is.
Any angler wishing to join our club can do so by contacting any commitee members who are able to issue tickets immediately. Contact details are on our committee members/contacts page.
We hope to have many fruitfull years fishing and wish all members new and old tight lines for the coming season.
